Rachael is a good friend from college. She met Fletcher during her two year stint in Africa while working with displaced women to enhance their skills in making African products and clothing. I hadn’t met Fletcher yet and it had been over two years since I had seen Rachael, so I made the decision to head up to Chicago to do an engagement shoot with them. The trip was well worth it…Chicago is an incredible city and I got some good hang time with the couple and another good friend from college.

At the end of this month I’ll head down to Jackson, MS to shoot Rachael and Fletcher’s wedding. The two of them shared more details about the wedding day while I was in Chicago and I started to get more and more excited. I know it is going to be amazing.

Rach is a joy to be around and Fletcher is a rock and such a genuine guy…and he cares for Rachael so well. My hope is that many of these images portray those qualities in them. Here’s to my first engagement shoot!

Photographers get stuff printed all the time, but just go with me on this for a minute. This is my first big time publication…pretty pivotal moment in my career! There is a full page spread in the People Magazine Country Special that came out this week! Still haven’t got my hands on a copy, but here’s a picture of my photos from Charles and Cassies wedding in the Bahamas…page 15! This is me. Sweating my butt off. I had my first wedding shoot (on my own) in the Bahamas! The weather was so hot down there. It was an amazing experience and I am so excited to share the photos…soon!
